I'll admit it, I've been REALLY REALLY bad about blogging this year but I'm slowly getting back into it. I'm going to start a series of post I have done in the past for "must have Monday" items.
This weeks post is a must for all of you girls with flat hair like me! Big Sexy Hair makes awesome products and their Root Pump Plus is amazing. It has a spray spout but comes out like a mousse. After I get out of the shower I let my hair air dry about 50% of the way (if I don't have time to do that I'll just spray the product immediately) But once my hair is partially dry I separate sections around the crown of my head and spray the root lifter. Then when I blow dry my hair I do it upside down for maximum volume. This root lifter does miracles for my fine hair, especially in the muggy humid southern heat! It's definitely worth a try if you have never used it before.
Coming from winter into this hot "Spring" weather we are having in Nashville I don't know about you but my lips have been SUPER dry! I recently purchased this amazing lip scrub after reading tons of pinterest posts about it. It's by Sara Happ and it's called Confetti Cake lip scrub. Let me tell you this stuff is amazing! Not only does it smell like cake batter but it leaves your lips silky smooth. All you do is take a little bit of the scrub, rub it on your lips, wipe off and voila you have perfectly smooth lips. It sold old really quickly when Nordstrom had it but you can still buy it HERE on amazon. It's kind of pricey considering it is a lip scrub but I promise you it's worth skipping your daily Starbucks for a couple days to buy this stuff!

I have recently come across the cutest little blog with the BEST prices! I am definitely a bargain shopping (with an occasional slurge here and there) but everything from the Golden Hanger is super reasonable and not to mention amazing. I just received the Panama Hat pictured above and it's very good quality and will be pefect for my trip to the Dominican Republic. Anyone who knows me well knows that my mom is my rock and best friend. We honestly talk multiple times a day, everyday haha! She has always been such a wonderful strong Christian example of a mom. You can see glimpses of my mom in mine and my siblings personalities and I love it. This year my mom is coming to spend time with us in Nashville to celebrate Mother's Day. My brother lives here so we will all have a fun Sunday of church and brunch together. If you are fortunate enough to have your mom with you on Mother's day make sure to hug her extra tight and thank her for all she's done for you!
