Bucket list item….go to the Derby! Here in Nashville we have
a smaller horse race called Steeplechase. It’s pretty much a version of the
derby where everyone dresses to the nines in the finest fit and flare dresses
along with guys in pink seersucker! I absolutely love to see everyone dressed
up like this, all the pastels and hats/fascinators and preppy attire is just
glorious. So I can only imagine how the Derby does it. This Nanette Lepore
dress would be PERFECT for the derby or just a random occasion. So here’s to
pretending I am wearing this outfit and headed to Church Hills downs to win big.
Ok I have totally been MIA for the last um 4 months...oops! I guess life got in the way! I have really enjoyed the last couple months spending all my time with my husband and friends and family! We went to Vegas in January which was great and my first trip there! We had wonderful food, saw an amazing Cirque show, danced till the wee hours of the morning at TAO, and got to spend the whole weekend with my best friend and her husband who live in Washington...the state :( Anyhow I am back! I am going to get back in the swing of blogging and with a lot of fun summer travels ahead I should have lots to blog about!
