Let’s talk dry shampoo….

I have fine hair, but lots of it so that means I have to wash my hair every day. Which that’s ok if I were to just let is air dry but of course I have to blow dry and curl my hair which can cause damage. Luckily for those of you like me with fine hair I have some reviews on “dry shampoos!” I have tried lot’s of them and here are my favorites!

A. this is super cheap, so if you buy it and don’t like it well you’re only out a few bucks! The smell of this dry shampoo is very lemony, so if you don’t like lemons don’t bother with this one! It works great on the top of your hair and makes styling the “2nd day hair” awesome!

This is by far the BEST dry shampoo I have ever used! The smell is amazing and I have gotten so many compliments on my hair when I use this. It’s almost like a perfume smell but can be a bit overwhelming at first. I got a sample of this in my Birchbox and blew through the sample size so purchasing more was a must. I use this dry shampoo on my “clean” hair as well because it adds some texture to create volume. It’s definitely more pricey than the Suave but well worth it!

This dry shampoo is NOT at all worth the money. It’s really good for creating volume but as far as taking away the “greasy” look of day old hair, major fail. I was so excited when I read reviews about this one and I actually got a sample to try before buying it. I am so glad I didn’t waste my money on this product. The smell was too much for me and I never wanted to use it. This is probably a good product for someone with thick coarse hair who doesn’t need it for the clean affect,

Another reasonably priced dry shampoo! This one is good for getting the grease out of your hair but not much more than that. It’s got a clean smell that is neither overwhelming nor underwhelming. I wouldn’t use this product to create volume like the Catwalk. However it’s def worth the couple bucks to try it out!

  1. This year I have also discovered the wonderful world of dry shampoo! I have thicker, coarser hair and with the help of dry shampoo I only have to wash my hair about twice a week- a major time and money saver! Not to mention, it saves me from unnecessary damage. I see the Oscar Blandi aerosol did not get a good review but I use the Oscar Blandi pronto- which is a powder and I LOVE it! Just thought I'd add another option to the list :)
