New make up favs
I have been on such a make up kick lately, ok basically a total product kick! I promise I'll get back to the "fashion" part of this blog but products are so fun. Between new lip liners, lip sticks, foundations, eye shadows I've been trying a bunch...I don't know what's gotten into me lately but these are some of my new favorite items I've tried!
1. Estee Lauder Double Wear- I know your 1st thought is "um I've heard of that brand, my grandma used to wear it!" But give it a chance. I just bought this for a friends wedding and it literally stays in place all day! This is definitely not a make up I would wear everyday as I am using laura mercier tinted moisturizer as my daily make up but it's an awesome one if you have a special event you want to your face to stay in place- so to speak! The price ranges from $37-$42 depending upon where you can find it.
2. Simple Cleansing Water- Until about 3 months ago I had no clue that removing your make up before you wash your face was a thing! Thank God I found this out! This Simple Cleansing Micellar water is the best to remove your makeup before giving your face a good cleansing. I use a cotton round and it comes off very easily. I love everything from this brand and you can usually find it at CVS or Walgreens. And this product is under $10 so you have to try it!
3. YSL Le Teint Touche- I am so so mad at the girl in Sephora for putting this foundation on me. I immediately fell in love and had to have it. It gave my skin the softest illuminating glow. This product is a bad one to get addicted to because as we all know anything YSL is pricey so this one comes in at $57 but definitely a must try!
4. Stila Eyecompact- I am a MAC eyeshadow addict and have been since I was introduced to it by a friend in college. I just think it stays on the best and has the best pigment. But I have found a close 2nd and that's Stila. This eye shadow is really great! It doesn't clump up in the crease of your eye lid and the pigment stays on all most all day. I love the color sun in this brand. It's just a good base color and the perfect amount of shimmer. This product is $18.
5. Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil- Sephora is the best about sucking me into products. I actually was able to try this product in their birthday gift. I got 2 colors, one pinkish and one red and I love them both. The color definitely doesn't last as long as their lip sticks do but these are good lip pencils to just throw in your purse. This product is around $26
6. Mac Lip Pencil- Again I'm way behind on the lip game (for Kylie Jenner's tricks check this out) but I only owned 3 lip pencils and never used them until the Mac God did a lip make over on me. Now I can't stop buying lip pencils haha! These lip pencils are $16.50 for a cheaper yet great alternative check out NYX lip pencil and at $3.50 you can afford to buy them all!

Beautycounter
This cleansing balm feels amazing on your face! This would be a great product to use after a long week at the beach or if you just feel your skin needs a little hydration. Purchase here
Oil on your body? YES YES YES. This stuff is great and smells so amazing! A little goes a long way so remember that when spraying. Purchase here
Have you guys heard about Beautycounter before? When I was asked to try these products I wasn't aware of Beautycounter and all it had to offer. Before I tried these products I did a little research and I've come to the conclusion that Beautycounter is the "whole foods" of the grocery game. All of their products are seriously "clean." From their website I found that most of the skincare products we all think are safe and clean for our skin really are not. The US has not passed a federal law to regulate skincare products since 1938...yes you read that right 1-9-3-8. UM HELLO PEOPLE it's 2015! Most of their products are coconut oil based which we all know coconut oil is the best. All of Beautycounter's ingredients are listed and you never have to worry if they are hiding an item. Not only do they have skincare products but they also have make up, hair and body items, kid friendly items, and sunscreen. Definitely take a look at the website HERE. If you are interested in learning more about the products Emily would love to talk with you and you can contact her at: EmilyMaggart@gmail.com
Thanks for letting me try all of these products Emily :)

NIP and FAB
The consistency is kind of gel-like and sticky but that is what really seeps into your skin to plump it!
Have you guys heard about Nip and Fab products? If not go out to your local Target or Walgreen's and immediately purchase an item! Lately I've several instagram posts featuring these items but every time I tried to find one they were always sold out. Any how the main items I was looking for were the Glycolic Exfoliating Pads and the Cellulite Fix because I'll admit it I was not born with perfectly smooth legs haha!
After a week of trying the glycolic pads I don't really notice a difference but I like the smell and the way it makes my face feel so I'm going to continue using them once a day. Now the cellulite fix I don't know whether it's me wanting to see results (aka imagining) or if I really am but I honestly think this stuff is working. I cannot say enough good things about this. I have tried skin brushing (crazy but I do it often) and even Bliss Fat Girl Soap (which doesn't work, don't waste your money) Every day after I get out of the shower I put St Ives Collagen lotion on and then take the Cellulite fix and apply it in an upward motion to the backs of the legs. It definitely has reduced the appearance of cellulite, whether it is a short term fix or not I don't know yet. All I know is that I'm hooked!

Nails on point
If you are like me then you love having your nails painted, you also own too many nail polishes and refuse to have your nails done by a salon on the regular! Lucky for you I happen to know a nail guru who has now saved all of our nails from chipping after day 1!
1st start with clean manicured nails. Even if you don't have any nail polish on to begin with I recommend using an alcohol wipes just to clean the dirt away.
Then start with the nail color you want to use. This time I picked up Nicole "Keep Your Grey Job" it was an essential find on a CVS run this past weekend. Paint one coat of the color and then let dry.
Your next coat is going to be your "gel" coat. I used Essie gel setter. Again paint all your nails and let dry.
From there move on to 1 more coat of your color then let dry.
The last and final coat will be with whatever top coat you choose. For this I was using OPI top coat but my nail guru said you absolutely have to have to have to use Seche Vite top coat. She told me she wouldn't even paint her nails without this, so that means it's legit and already on order for me :)
Hope you enjoy your new amazing manicure process brought to you by Maggie aka the nail guru!
