Adam Lippes for Target

Let's face it Target for most of us sucks the life out of our budgets. I mean I go into Target for make up remover wipes and come out with 15 other things that I needed. One thing that I am definitely grateful Target does is collaborates with designers. This gives us girls on a budget a chance for some great "designer" items at a steal. 

This fall Target is launching their latest collaboration with Adam Lippes and this collection is all about the plaid! I love plaid and definitely think it's a must have for fall. Whether it's a scarf or a button up there is always room for plaid in your wardrobe. The best thing about this collection is the prices range from $1.50-$199 and items vary from clothing to dog beds, so there will definitely be something for everyone in this collection. Rollercoaster!

Blogging....

I started this blog as a fun hobby and have definitely been on a roller coaster with it! I felt like I was doing so good for so long and then got burnt out with it and almost felt that it was a chore. That is definitely not how I intended this blog to become...and with that in mind I am not going to let this blog stay that way. 

This roller coaster of a blog is on the upward slope and I definitely plan for it to stay there! I have decided to make a commitment to blog 2-3 times a week on a regular basis. There are so many things that I let get in the way of my blog and this blog has been so fun and surprisingly so many people love it too. Starting next week I am going to have a blog post up on 2 out of the 3 days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday. So please make sure to regularly check on these days for some really fun changes and ideas coming to Southernfried Fashion :) And thank you to the followers who have continued to check in with my blog!

The September Issue

Can you believe it's the end of August?! I mean where has this month gone? As much as I love summer I really really love fall. I mean who doesn't love boots, sweaters, and PSL? A huge entry into fall is the Vogue September issue. You will find me on the couch reading all 832 pages of falls hottest trends. This year Beyonce is on the cover which is a huge deal because Anna Wintour has only ever used 2 musicians to cover the September issue. You can pre-order your issue HERE.
