Gorgeous Gorjana
A few months ago I met Mary Seng in the apple store, and she was literally so nice! Not only do I religiously follow her blog, Happily Grey but I pretty much follow all of the designers she does (not to sound creepy) Anyhow I was browsing through the Gorjana website the other day and saw that you can shop some of Mary's favorite fall pics. If she picks it it's golden...literally! Above are some of my favorites from her "favorite picks." Also make sure to check out their summer sale items, all are 30% off!

Outdoor Spaces
When my husband and I were looking for houses last fall we had to make the decision between living in the suburbs with a big yard and more space, or living closer to downtown with small to no yard and less space-but right in the heart of our favorite places. Needless to say we chose downtown and we wouldn't trade it for anything at this point in our lives (we still have a small yard). However once time comes for a family we would love to have a big back yard with an outdoor kitchen and fire pit spots! For now I can just dream about these images!

Best Drugstore Finds
You can bet every time I walk in Target I come out with 500 things I dont necessarily need but yet can't live without! These are my top "drugstore finds" and all of them can be found at a CVS, Walgreens, Target, etc. And a bonus, all of these items are under $10 so how can you resist?!

No Shop August FAIL!
And this jacket brings me to my next statement regarding a "capsule" wardrobe. A friend (thank you Christy) recently told me about this blog called un-fancy. Caroline is amazing! Her whole thing is "less is more." If you read her blog you'll read about her desire to simplify her life. She, like me, realized she needed to let go of some items in her life and be a little lighter and a little happier. No shop August for me has been not only to prove that I don't have to always buy clothes that I don't need, but also to put my time and energy that I spent looking at clothing websites and shopping elsewhere. I get so wrapped up in the next big purchase or the new coolest designer and sometimes it's better to just take a step back and be content with what you have (knowing we are all SO BLESSED with what we have) So take a look at Caroline and her 30 items she uses to mix and match each season. The Piperlime jacket is definitely going to be a staple for me for fall. It will be perfect for work over a dress or a date night out with jeans. Remember Aimee "less is more!"

Summer Cocktail
There is something about sitting on the beach with a good summery drink in hand that I love! Since I can't always be at the beach why not take 1/2 of that trade off and always have a good summer cocktail handy (and by always I mean on the weekends!) My go to is usually a V&T (vodka tonic and 2 limes) but Pinterest has opened a whole new world of cocktails for me to try and love! The ones listed above are my favorite!

Summer Beach Wear
This past week I was asked by raise.com to do a blog post on summery beach wear. First off let me tell you a little bit about raise.com. This is an awesome website if you are going to buy a giftcard for someone or if you want to sell a giftcard of you own. Honestly this is a great sit to just purchase a giftcard for yourself and get a sale price for it too! I know we all get random giftcards that sometimes we can'y use so why not head over to raise.com and let someone buy that from you! Also it allows you to compare prices on giftcards so all of you frugal mcdougals can get the best possible deal. They have giftcards from Target to Macy's to Starbucks! I mean this is honestly the best way to shop!
Next month my husband and I are heading to the beach to celebrate our 2 year anniversary a little early (getting married in the fall means football takes priority so we are going out of town on a by week for UT) Anyhow here are some items I know I'll be packing in my suitcase for our beach trip as well as adding to my wish list for this trip!

Midi Monday
(picture is a combo of the shirt and skirt I bought)
I have been on the hunt for the perfect midi skirt for months now! I am just tall enough that I feel comfortable pulling this look off. The midi skirt that I fell in love with was featured on Bows and Depos! this gorgeous green midi skirt from shopbop has been on my mind non stop since I saw it. Unfortunately at the price of $119 I wasn't willing to spend that for a skirt I wouldn't wear that often. Needless to say a girl at work had on one that was a very close 2nd so clearly I had to know where it came from. After finding out it was from piperlime I immediately went on the website to buy it. Luckily there was a promotion going on that if you sign up with your email address you get 40% off! And on top of that I had a $15 off coupon, so none the less I got this awesome skirt for $25!!! I still am keeping my eye out for the green shopbop skirt to go on sale but I love this Jacquard midi and cannot wait to wear it!

No Shop August
A few years ago I implemented "no shop November" and let's just say it was a total bust. I have a serious shopping problem and I guess the 1st step is
